Whether its a chipped a tooth, tooth trauma, swellings or a toothache we aim to provide immediate treatment and pain relief as quickly as possible. It is therefore imperative that you see a dentist as soon as possible as some dental traumas are time dependent on the prognosis of the tooth (such as having a tooth knocked out)
During an emergency appointment the relevant area will be assessed, possible x-rays taken to further examine the underlying cause and the diagnosis then discussed with you. Treatment options then will be discussed, and immediate treatment (if applicable) will be done to get you out of pain. If further extensive treatment is required, then another appointment can be booked for this.
If it is outside our opening hours NHS patients are advised to call 111 for any dental emergencies.
